Use assemblies to define often-repeated groups of items and attach them to equipment, or place them manually on the takeoff canvas.

Create an assembly

There are a few ways to create an assembly.
  1. **The Assembly database. **Navigate to Database > Assemblies to see the Assemblies database. Click the Create button.
  2. **The takeoff view. **When selecting equipment or distribution items in the inspector, you will see an Attached Assemblies cell. In this cell you can click to attach an existing assembly to this specific takeoff object, or create a new one to attach. Assembly components will be present in takeoff reports for each instance of this takeoff object.
